Within the industrial field of Sintex, it stands out the presence of Gelymar S.A. , pioneer company in the elaboration and application of carrageenans from marine seaweed. This product is used in  the food industry, specially in dairy and meat products. This way, Gelymar has become one of the  main companies in the world regarding the production and distribution of this type of  Hydrocolloids.

At international level, the Sintex group reunites in its branch Oxiquim Inversiones Internacionales Ltda., the following companies: Oxinova C.A. in Venezuela, Oxiquim do Brasil. in Brasil, Industrias Químicas Oxiquim S.A. in Argentina, and an office of representations in China: Dilox S.A. Beijing.
