The Special Resins Area develops, manufactures and distributes synthetic phenol and urea formaldehyde resins, amino resins (butyl), casein alkyd phenolic resins, base polyols, rigid polyurethane systems, acrylic and epoxic resins, penta esters, and a wide range of catalysts for each one of them. Besides, this Area produces unsaturated polyester resins for glass fiber, commercialized by Epoxa S.A.
All these products are mainly oriented to the industries of painting and varnishing, building (thermal isolation and refrigeration), glass fiber, paper, rubber, casting, contact adhesives, break balatas, among others.
The modern high and low temperature reactors available at its facilities, allow the production of resins specially developed for each of its customers.
